Currently, vets and techs check lab work status by periodically checking each lab order at soap level. This leads to a lot of clicks and lost time due to rework. Digitail aims to change that by implementing an aggregated view of all lab order requests, to be able to track progress, organize follow-ups and move along faster with records.
The view/report will display:
- Lab order + category (either external or in-house)
- Name of the 3rd party + External/Reference and In-house label
- Status of the lab request (Pending, Partial results, Final)
- Submission/requested date and Corresponding record
- Date of the last update (of the results);
- For whom it was requested (client and patient) and the client’s contact details.
- Results + interpretation (if existing) - an order can have multiple results
- Assigned staff member
The vet staff will be able to sort and filter the report, using different criteria, so that I can easily find the results they need.
The default view should be sorted by the last updated request first.
- Filters: Lab Type, Request status, Submission date interval; Client; Patient; Staff;
- Columns can be sorted by: Lab name/type, Status, Date submitted, Date last updated, and Staff in alphabetical order.
